If somebody could tell me the difference between a Democrat and a Republican, I would really appreciate the clarification.

That is too true . . .
I was thinking of the Democraticesque-quasiRepublican State of the Union we heard last night.
It's like, "No, really, the federal government doesn't have to do anything for me. I'm fine."
